Huawei proudly supported and sponsored the Hack Cambridge Atlas 24-hour event which took place in the heart of Cambridge on 22-23 January 2022. This year’s event was the 7th iteration of the successful student-run hackathon which saw teams hack together, network and learn at the event workshops. The hybrid-event which is endorsed by the University of Cambridge welcomed over 400 developers in total with those who were unable to attend in person joining the event virtually.
Huawei DTSE Miguel Montesinos Santander and Francisco Almeida introduced HSD Program and gave speeches about AR-related technologies. In this event Huawei enhanced the cooperation with the university and got invited to participate the upcoming hackathon.
Huawei DTSE Francisco Almeida and Zhang Lei introduced Machine Learning and Petal Search & Map to the students. The vice president of the university discussed with us about the plan for further cooperation on projects and courses.
HSD Spain recently collaborated with MEDAC, a fantastic organisation which provides students with skills and degrees specifically for the labour market. Together, they held an event where over 230 students attended to learn about HMS Core key capabilities including 3D Modeling, AR, Machine Learning and Huawei Ads. The event proved to be a huge success, stay tuned with our future HSD events with MEDAC in other cities.
