Service Introduction

Video Editor Kit facilitates the development of video editing functions. It provides the following SDKs:

• UI SDK: provides a product-level UI and is easy to integrate.
• Fundamental capability SDK: provides hundreds of APIs for fundamental capabilities in this kit, some of which are for the AI algorithm-empowered capabilities. The APIs are flexible to use.
• AI capability SDK: offers AI-empowered intelligent editing capabilities ideal for fields such as graphics image, audio, and video. This SDK comes with a smaller size yet more flexible APIs, and is easier to integrate.
• Screen recorder SDK: delivers ready-to-use screen recording functions, which can be easily and quickly integrated via its straightforward APIs.

The SDKs offer video editing capabilities (like file import, video editing and rendering, video export, material management, screen recording, intelligent editing, and AI-empowered functions) supported by APIs that are high-performance, easy-to-use, and highly compatible. Integrate any one of the SDKs according to your needs.

Supported Devices

Functions

• Allows your users to delete videos and images in batches, import both videos and images at a time, adjust the sequence and duration of video clips, and easily enter the editing screen. Videos imported with a resolution of 1080p or lower are recommended for better experience.
• Supports basic editing operations, including video splitting/deletion, volume/aspect ratio/playback speed adjustment, adding canvases/animations/masks, rotation, cropping, mirroring, copying, and replacement.
• Allows your users to add filters and modify parameters that define brightness, contrast, saturation, hue, color temperature, and sharpening.
• Allows for adding key frames, to change the display position, size, angle, volume, and special effects of assets.
• Supports picture-in-picture. Your users can overlay a video into another video so that the video added will appear in a small window floating on the original video in full-screen mode.
• Allows for adding BGM or sound effects, recording audio, and extracting audio from local video files. The kit also allows for adding the fade-in/out effect to audio, adjusting the volume, and changing the playback speed.
• Allows for saving the edited video as a draft, which can also be deleted.
• Provides the operation record function in the UI SDK, which allows your users to redo or undo an action.
• Allows your users to export videos in MP4 format, extract any frame from a video or import an image from the album as the video cover, and set the resolution (up to 4K) and frame rate (up to 60 fps) of the exported video.
• Provides multiple APIs for AI algorithm-empowered functions in the fundamental capability SDK. The functions include: AI filter, color hair, track person, highlight, auto-timelapse, face mask, body segmentation, head segmentation, and object segmentation.
• Offers a library with wide-ranging materials, which will be constantly enriched and updated. Some of the materials will be free to you.
• Supports downsampling.
• Provides the AI capability SDK that has a smaller size and is easier and more flexible to integrate. This SDK allows you to independently use any of the following capabilities: moving picture, auto-smile, AI color, auto-timelapse, highlight, beauty, color hair, head segmentation, and object segmentation.
• Presents the screen recorder SDK with functions like full-screen recording, real-time audio recording, and background recording. The SDK supports multiple resolutions and saving path customization for screen recording files. The screen recorder SDK thus helps you develop screen recording-related functions in, for example, a game or live-streaming app.
