Service Introduction
5G Modem Kit arms your app with the crowdtesting function by leveraging the powerful modem capabilities of Huawei devices that are powered by HiSilicon SoCs. By integrating the 5G Modem SDK, you will have access to 5G-specific data, such as CSI-RS based RRM measurements (where CSI-RS stands for channel state information reference signal and RRM stands for radio resource management), dynamic spectrum sharing (DSS), and Long-Term Evolution (LTE) anchor information in non-standalone (NSA) networking. This brings improved accuracy and richness of crowdtesting data of 5G networks.

Use Cases
With the 5G Modem SDK integrated into crowdtesting apps, crowdtesting providers will have access to a wealth of network parameters such as LTE, New Radio (NR), and bearer information. These parameters can then be collated into network user experience reports that underpin network evaluation and tuning.
